On entry to JGW+, all learners complete a Wales Essential Skills Toolkit (WEST) initial assessment during induction to identify their current literacy, numeracy and digital literacy levels, helping plan appropriate support and progression from the start.

The delivery of Essential Skills is responsive to individual learner needs and takes account of any prior achievement or Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL). Literacy, numeracy and digital skills development is embedded within the engagement and advancement pathway and all JGW+ centres also provide access to a specialised Essential Skills provision. Delivery schedules vary between centres, each location offers opportunities for learners to develop and achieve qualifications in Communication, Application of Number and Digital Literacy, from Entry Level 1 through to Level 2.

Our Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration is designed for people who want to work in administrative support roles in public or private sector organisations, or people who want to improve their administrative and supervisory skills.

Learners will be supported through their qualification, demonstrating skills in business and administration, customer handling, technical and practical skills, oral communication and IT skills.

Our Level 4 Diploma in Business Administration provides learners with the skills and knowledge required to develop in their roles as Managers.

Our Level 3 Diploma in Customer Services covers many key aspects of Customer Service in the workplace. With a focus on developing and practicing the skills required in employment.

Our Level 3 Social Media for Business Apprenticeship supports learners in developing various digital media skills that can be transferable across many sectors, supporting a range of businesses to create an online brand. It will equip learners with the skills knowledge and competency to support business systems, processes and services through social media so they can contribute to making businesses more efficient and productive.

Our Diploma in Customer Services Foundation Apprenticeship is for learners who work or want to work in the customer service sector and other related sectors e.g. contact centre and sales.

Our Business Administration framework supports learners in becoming administrators that demonstrate a broad range of skills who work efficiently, helping to increase business productivity.
